The Story Behind the Call
My life and experiences are a blue print to guide others to wholeness and happiness in their own lives. Over the years I have given friends, family and clients advice and information that has helped them to transform their feelings of self-worth for the better. I started “A Call for Beauty” because I have found that EVERYONE is beautiful. Man, Woman, elder or child - we all have a journey set out for us. Through "A Call for Beauty" my work has deepened. I understand that it is the internal work that matters most.
To be the best person possible one must first become authentic. To experience fulfilling relationships with others we must first have self-love. To achieve our dreams and realize our true potential we must have confidence and healthy self-esteem. To appreciate the blessings that we have we must first appreciate ourselves. The beautiful thing is it makes no difference if one is a teacher or a millionaire, 19 or 72 years old. Everyone has the potential to grow beyond their perceived limitations.

There is nothing more fulfilling to me in this life than helping you discover and become the best YOU. I know first hand that overwhelming feeling of being in a rut, KNOWING you are AMAZING, but not knowing how to BELIEVE IT AND BE IT. I felt like no one could see the real me and that I would never live up to my true potential. Trust me, there is nothing more frustrating than that!
Guess what? I have learned how to conquer the obstacles that once limited me and my life has changed for the better! I'm finally on the path and understand the work it takes to stay on it. Whatever your journey is, wherever you are in life, it can be so much better. Let’s do the work together.

Work Behind the Scenes
In 2003-2004 I attended Georgia Career Institute. Years later I was asked to return to my Alma Mater to enroll in the instructor’s program and head up the Wigs and Hair Additions class, which quickly turned into “The Natural Hair Class.” Upon graduating from the instructor’s program in May 2014 I discovered my true calling. I learned that while my talent is in doing hair, my true gift has always been to help others realize their potential. The fulfillment of encouraging, inspiring, motivating, giving needed doses of positivity and kind words, along with demonstrating professionalism, order, cleanliness and etiquette while delivering customer service and plain ol’ pulling out the best in the students, made me want to coach more and more!
As I embark on my new calling, I wanted to thank all of the wonderful students that forever changed my life and helped me discover my potential. I give special thanks to all those that helped beautify this site. You are some of the BEST and most INNOVATIVE students that I have had the pleasure of knowing. Give from the Heart
Kuza's mission is to equip the young leaders of Uganda. In a nation where 70% of the population is 24 years or younger, there is an incredible need to equip the next generation for both the job market and positions of leadership. By identifying young people who show leadership potential, but do not have the means to complete school, we focus on an often overlooked demographic -- older teens.
Victoria is my niece who is trying to fundraise money so she can go on a study abroad trip to Salamanca, Spain in the summer of 2015 with her college. She is a student at Georgia Regents University and is obtaining a bachelors degree in History with a minor in Spanish. It has been her dream to go and study in Spain since she was a freshman, and now that she is in her senior year of college, this summer will be her last chance to go as an undergrad student.
